Finding the perfect outfit for your engagement session can feel like the most daunting part of the planning process, but it doesn't have to be!!


Whether we are wandering through the lush gardens of the Dallas Arboretum or exploring a local park for your sun filled engagement session, your wardrobe plays a huge role in the "vibe" of your final gallery!

The "Light and Airy" Aesthetic

If you love a soft, romantic, and dreamlike look, neutrals are your best friend.


Colors: Think creams, soft whites, tans, and very light pastels.


Why it works: Lighter colors reflect light back onto your skin, creating that glowing, ethereal quality that looks beautiful in a timeless edit.

Going for "Moody and Ethereal"

If your style is more dramatic or you want a gallery that feels deeply intimate and grounded, lean into richer tones.


Colors: Emerald green, deep navy, burgundy, or even black.


Why it works: Darker colors absorb light, which helps create more contrast and "mood" in the shadows.


The Vibe: This is perfect for sunset sessions or locations with lots of architecture and stone.

Prioritize Movement

Since I focus on raw, unscripted moments, I always recommend clothing that moves with you.


Flowy fabrics: Long dresses or skirts that catch the wind allow us to capture those candid, "in-between" shots that feel alive rather than posed.


Comfort is Key: If you feel stiff in your clothes, it will show in your photos. Wear something that makes you feel like the most confident version of yourself.
